Ingredients

  • Low Fat Greek Yogurt- 1 ½ cups.
  • Olive Oil Mayonnaise- 1 ½ cups.
  • Water Chestnuts- 1 can. Use an eight ounce can.
  • Seasonings- 4 teaspoons total. This can include Italian Seasonings Salt,
  • and/or Pepper. Using a dry vegetable mixor soup mix rather than the seasonings can make this recipe even easier to make.
  • Chopped Spinach- 10 ounce box. Frozen box that has been thawed and well drained.
  • Optional- Dash of hot sauce will take this to a new level for some folks!

As mentioned, we are using an alternative for the mayonnaise in this recipe. My choice is a low fat Greek Yogurt. However, there are other choices that you can choose from as well.
Also needed in this recipe is spinach.Frozen spinach is actually the preferred spinach to use.Simply thaw your spinach out and drain it well before adding it to the bowl.
