Easy Pumpkin Pie Hummus
Easy Pumpkin Pie Hummus, a simple vegan and Mediterranean diet friendly hummus recipe that can be used as a fruit or dessert dip.
Ingredients
- Chickpeas– 1 15-15.5 ounce can.
- Pumpkin Puree– 1 cup.
- Vanilla Extract– 1 teaspoon.
- Nut Butter- â…“ cup.
- Ground Cinnamon-½ teaspoon.
- Pumpkin Pie Spice– ½ teaspoon.
- Molasses– 2 to 3 tablespoons as desired.
- Optional- salt as needed.
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a food processor or strong blender. When adding the molasses, add a half to whole tablespoon at a time until the hummus is sweet enough.
- If the consistency of your hummus is too thick, it can be thinned out with small amounts of water or juice (a few teaspoons at a time).
- Transfer the hummus to an air tight container and refrigerate until served. Top with chopped nuts, raisins, sesame seeds, drizzled walnut oil, or as desired before serving.
