Vegan Marble Cake with Orange,

Vegan Marble Cake with Orange, a simple and delicious bundt cake dessert recipe flavored with orange juice

  • 2 ½ cup Flour
  • 3 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 ¼ cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Vegetable Oil
  • cup Orange Juice
  • 12 tbsp Unsweetened Almond Milk - see post for alternatives
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Orange Zest
  • ¼ cup Unsweetened Cocoa

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350. Double prep a bundt pan for nonstick. I like to spread oil on mine using a folded paper towel and then dust the pan with either additional flour or cocoa powder.
    The cake will be baked with the bundt pan being placed on a rimmed baking sheet so place the prepped pan on the sheet now if desired.
  • In a medium bowl, use a whisk or a fork to mix together the flour and the baking powder. Next, beat together the sugar and oil until blended.
    Then stir in your orange juice, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Add the dry ingredients from the first bowl to the bowl with ingredients that you just mixed together. Mix the ingredients until just blended. Then divide the batter by transferring half of it to a new bowl.
  • In the original bowl with the ingredients, stir in the orange zest.
    For the second, or new bowl, stir in the unsweetened cocoa.
  • Pour half of the light colored batter into the prepped pan then top that layer with half the darker batter (do not mix!). Repeat this process with the remaining batter.
    Gently shake the filled bundt pan back and forth a few times to create the design and level the batter in the pan.
    Bake the cake for 45 to 50 minutes or until an inserted toothpick, comes out clean. Let the cake cool over the counter before unmolding.
