Preheat your oven to 350. Prepare your muffin pan well for nonstick.
In a small bowl, use a whisk or a fork to mix together your oat flour, baking powder, and spices.
Next, in a large mixing bowl, beat together the mashed bananas and brown sugar until smooth and lump-fee. Then mix in the almond milk, oil and vanilla extract until combined.
Add the dry ingredients from the first bowl to the large mixing bowl and mix until just combined. Then fold in the oats and any optional ingredients.
Bake the muffins for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the muffins to cool before serving.
