Ingredients

  • Avocados- 2. Your avocados should be peeled and pitted and then mashed. You can run them through a food processor for example.
  • Cream Cheese- 1 eight ounce package softened to room temperature. You could use a low fat version however it may affect the texture of your pie in the end.
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk 1 can 12-14 ounces. You can find alternative to the sweetened condensed milk here.
  • Lime Juice– 3 tablespoons.
  • Pie Crust- 1 nine inch pie crust such as one of these

Instructions

  • Blend together your avocados, cream cheese, condensed milk, and lime juice. Tip- these ingredients can be blended in a blender!
  • Transfer the blended ingredients to your prepared pie crust.
  • Optional: Top with lime zest or coconut flakes to make it look and taste even more interesting!
  • Refrigerate for at least an hour or until set.

Recipe Notes

I mentioned above that you will need a crust for this pie. You can find a variety of flavors of premade pie crusts (such as shortbread or graham cracker) online.
I also mentioned that sweetened condensed milk is also needed for this pie recipe. You can make your own sweetened condensed milk by combining 1 ½ cup of sugar with a can of evaporated milk over medium heat and bringing it to a boil as you stir continuously. However, coconut milk can also be used instead of sweetened condensed milk.
