Instructions
Place your gummy molds on a rimmed baking sheet. This will make it easier for you to work with and transfer them later on. Lightly spray the molds with nonstick spray if desired.
In a saucepan (2-4 quart), whisk together the wine the and unflavored gelatin. When the gelatin is fully dissolved whisk in the sugar.
Next, when the ingredients are blended, place the saucepan on medium heat. Allow the mixture to liquefy on the stove, whisking as needed. When your mixture has thoroughly liquefied, you can remove it from the heat.
You can stir in any optional food coloring at this point.
Carefully use a dropper or pipette to fill the prepped molds from the first step with the liquid from the saucepan. Allow the candy to cool in the molds until set. They can be placed in a refrigerator for a few hours or in a freezer for 15-20 minutes.
To remove the gummies from the molds, simply push them out from the underside of the molds.
