Ingredients

  • Carrots- 1 pound.
  • Seasoning- 1 teaspoon.
  • Olive Oil– 1 tablespoon.
  • Nutritional Yeast– 1 tablespoon.
  • Optional- additional seasonings such as salt and pepper for serving as needed.

Instructions

  • Prepare the carrots. If you are using raw full-sized carrots, peel the dirty outer skin and remove the ends. Then slice the carrots lengthwise to your desired thickness. Small carrots that have been peeled should be rinsed and allowed to drain.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 390.
  • Place the carrots in a large bowl. In a small bowl, use a fork or a whisk to blend together the seasonings, olive oil, and nutritional yeast. Pour the blended ingredients over the carrot and toss to fully cover the carrots. .
  • Place the carrots into the air fryer basked, preferable so they do not touch so that they can evenly cook. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking or stirring the carrots in the basket, or until the carrots reach your desired result (some folks like them softer than others do).
  • Serve with the above dip or as desired.

Recipe Notes

I mentioned that these carrots can be served with a simple Aioli Mayonnaise dip.
There is a recipe above for both a vegan and nonvegan aioli dip that you can use.
Also mentioned was that any sized carrot will work in this recipe.
If you choose to use a full-sized carrot, simply cut the carrots lengthwise until you get the size that you want. You may need to make this recipe in batches to keep the carrots from overlapping in the basket.
