Equipment

Ingredients

  • cups Apples. --Diced into small pieces.
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper. --Seeds removed and chopped fine.
  • 1 Red Onion. -- Also finely diced.
  • 1 Jalapeño --Seeds removed and diced.
  • 2 tbsp Cilantro. -- Use fresh cilantro that has been diced.
  • 2 tbsp Lime Juice.
  • Optional Add-ins. Fall spices honey or maple syrup, or chopped nuts.

Instructions

  • Prepare. Start by preparing your ingredients as indicated. This include dicing your bell pepper, onion, and jalapeño pepper.
  • Apples. Place your diced apples into a large bowl and then add the diced bell pepper, onion, and jalapeño to the bowl.
  • Toss. Use two large spoons or similar items to gently toss the ingredients. Then add the in cilantro, lime juice, salt, and optional ingredients such as maple syrup or honey and toss again until the ingredients are combined.
  • Meld. Cover or transfer the salsa to a jar and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes for the ingredients and flavors to meld.
  • Serve. Taste the salsa and make adjustments as needed. You can add salt, fall spices, or other ingredients as desired to taste. Then serve your salsa as desired.
