Dressing. In a medium bowl or wide mouthed mason jar, use a whisk to combine together the dressing ingredients.
Assemble. In a large bowl, toss together the kale and cabbage until combined. Then drizzle half of the dressing over the ingredients, toss the ingredients, and repeat, tossing the ingredients until well combined.
Serve. Sprinkle the almonds, and any optional ingredients, over the salad and serve.
