I really like how easy this is to make!

This is a great recipe for anyone asking what do you do with feta cheese.

I must say that I enjoy fresh feta just the way it is. It really can make a salad so much better.

Baked feta is somewhat different from the regular feta cheese that goes on to a salad.

The feta cheese that goes on to a salad has a texture that works best crumbled or cut into chunks. However, when feta is baked it becomes soft (almost like a cream cheese) and flavorful.

You may be wondering if feta cheese healthy.

When compared to other cheeses, feta cheese is lower in fat. Feta is also a good source for calcium and Vitamin B-6.

I like that Feta is really a special cheese however.

Feta is a very popular Greek Cheese that is usually packaged in a brine. It is that brine that gives feta both moisture and flavor.

Here are some tips for baking this cheese.

There are two kinds of feta cheese cheese depending on the source of the milk that went into making it. Using a goat milk feta will yield a more mild baked cheese while a sheep's milk cheese will offer more flavor however.

Here are some more great tips for you.

    1. This recipe is for a basic herb and spice recipe. Feel free to use an all in one Greek seasoning or Mediterranean seasoning.
    2. Dress up your baked feta cheese for the holidays. Simply add tomatoes and olives to the baking dish for baking or for serving with!
    3. You can add even more flavor and color by baking this in marinara sauce or with Italian dressing on top.

Here is how to make this baked feta cheese recipe on a grill.

While this is a great appetizer to serve up for the holiday season, baked feta is really just as good any time of the year. Feta cheese can also be 'baked' on a grill.

There are two ways to make this on the grill.

The safest way (my go-to) is to assemble this on aluminum foil rather than a baking dish and then loosely seal it by making a tent seal on the top before placing it on the grill to bake. Another way to make this on the grill is to use a grill tray an cook until the edges begin to brown and the cheese begins to soften.

Baked feta cheese is best served while warm.

When the cheese is soft it is easier to dip or spread. I believe that the flavors are best at that time as well.
