- To prepare your chickpeas, first drain the liquid from the can and then rinse the chickpeas. I like to just dump the ingredients from the can into a strainer and then rinse them. After rinsing your chickpeas gently pat them dry with a clean paper or kitchen towel (moisture may prevent the other ingredients from sticking to the chickpeas).
- Regular olive oil is used in this recipe. Other oils that can stand up to a higher temperature, such as sunflower oil or avocado oil, may also work in this recipe.
- Feel free to use the seasonings of your choice. I like a Mediterranean diet seasoning or savory seasoning blend in this recipe too.

- Cool. Once your chickpeas are golden and crisp they can be removed from the oven and allowed to cool for five to ten minutes before enjoying.
