Tips for making the best skillet chicken and broccoli dinner.
Ginger puree is used to give this recipe an authentic taste that resembles take-out versions of this recipe idea. Freshly grated ginger can be used instead of pureed ginger.
More helpful tips for you.
- Use a clean paper towel to pat the excess moisture off of your chicken before cutting it into pieces. This will allow the sauce to stick to the chicken better.
- Frozen broccoli can also be used in this recipe. Your broccoli should be defrosted and with the excess moisture patted or drained out first.
- While my recipe uses boneless skinless chicken breasts you can alternatively use thighs. Also, other similar bite-sized vegetables, such as sliced carrot, can be added to this recipe. Just make sure that you avoid overcrowding the skillet as doing so can affect the cooking process and results.

How to store chicken and broccoli
Once your chicken with broccoli has fully cooled, it can be stored in an airtight container. When properly stored, chicken and broccoli should keep for up to four days when refrigerated or up to a couple of months when frozen.
