Personally, when peaches are in season, I am buying them.
I love eating peaches and I like including them in my recipes.
What matters most in this recipe is how firm the peaches are.
Since the peaches are grilled, you should use a firm peach that will hold up when grilling.
Also, more ripened peaches tend to break down faster thanks to the sugar in them, which also makes them better for eating as is!
This is a grilled peach salad which is vegan.
The ingredients in the salad itself are all vegan.
This salad is really about the peaches.
You are welcome to add nonvegan ingredients to your salad.
A simple sprinkling of cheese such as feta crumbles would work in this salad.
Or, if you have some leftover chicken strips, they would certainly complement the flavors too.

- When grilling the peaches, it is really more important to get the grill marks on the peaches rather than achieving a golden or brown color. The grilling should make a tender and tasty peach rather than a crisp peach.
- You do not have to grill your peaches on a standard outdoor grill. Grilling may be even easier to do if you use an indoor grill especially if there is nothing else needed to be grilled.

The vinaigrette dressing is simple and is meant to complement the other ingredients rather than over-take the flavors. Feel free to adjust the ingredients as desired.
Simply whisk together the following ingredients .
- Olive Oil- 2 tablespoons.
- Balsamic Vinegar- 1 tablespoon.
- Optional: Honey or Maple Syrup- 1 teaspoon.
- Seasonings as desired. This can include Italian Seasonings, Mediterranean Diet Seasoning Blend, Greek Seasoning Blend, Salt, and/or Pepper.
How to grill peaches.
I like to rinse of my peaches and let them dry first.
Cut the peaches in half and remove the pit before grilling them.

Grilling the peaches is simple to do.
I like how grilling peaches enhanced the natural sugar in them.
This really makes the flavors even better in this salad.
Removing the peach skin is optional.
You can brush the inside of the cut peach with a bit of olive oil.
Starting with the inside of the peach, grill each side for about five minutes on a low to medium heat or until you get those wonderful grill marks.
Ingredients needed to make grilled peach salad.
- Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing- see above for recipe or use your own.
- Peaches- 3 average sized peaches. I like to rinse my peaches and allow for them to dry.
- Radishes- 2 sliced.
- Arugula- 2 cups washed and allowed to dry. Feel free to use a spring mix or as much arugula as you prefer to.
- Walnuts- ΒΌ cup chopped.
- Seasonings as desired. This can include Italian Seasonings, Mediterranean Diet Seasoning Blend, Greek Seasoning Blend, Salt, and/or Pepper.
How to make grilled peach arugula salad
- Make your vinaigrette dressing as indicated above. Allow this to set while you work.
- Prepare your peaches by first rinsing them or removing the skin. Then cut the peaches in half and remove the pit. If desired, you can quarter the peaches.
- To grill the peaches. You can brush the inside of the cut peach with a bit of olive oil.
Starting with the inside of the peach, grill each side for about five minutes on a low to medium heat or until you get those wonderful grill marks. Do not over cook the peaches as they will become too soft to use. Transfer the grilled peaches to a clean plate and allow them to cool while you assemble the salad. - Wash or rinse the radishes and use a clean kitchen towel or paper towel to pat them dry. Cut off the root and the stem before slicing the radishes β " thick for your salad.
- To assemble the salad first place the arugula in a large salad or serving bowl. Add the peaches, radishes, and walnuts to the bowl. Then toss with the vinaigrette dressing and serve.
