This recipe gets its thick ice cream texture really from the banana that is used in it.

Confused about which vegan milk is the best to use in your recipe?
Here is what you need to know about choosing the right vegan milk.

This recipe is for anyone asking how do you make vegan ice cream from scratch.

You will find that this recipe is easier (my opinion) than most nonvegan ice cream recipes that I have tried.
There is no dairy and no churning happening in this recipe, which helps make it so easy.

This recipe has just five ingredients.
I suggest that you choose the vegan and most natural choices for the five ingredients.
Also, I prefer to use ingredients that have no added extra ingredients, such as sugar, in them.

You may be wondering is almond milk ice cream healthy.

I just mentioned that there are five simple ingredients that go into this recipe for ice cream.
Using the healthiest versions of these five simple ingredients will help you keep this ice cream as healthy as possible.

However, what you should know is that this ice cream has no added dairy.

Because there is no dairy in this recipe, there are no high fat ingredients on the ingredient list.

Tips for making vegan homemade ice cream.

As mentioned above, stick to ingredients that have no added other ingredients such as sugar in them.
This included using unsweetened almond milk unless you want the sugar in it.

Here are some more great tips for you.

    1. This recipe uses almond butter and almonds for fat and flavor. Feel free to use another nut butter and nut such as peanut butter and peanuts or macadamia butter and macadamia nuts.
    2. This ice cream can be topped with vegan toppings such as sprinkles. You can find a variety of vegan ice cream toppings here.
    3. Vegan chocolate chips are used to give this ice cream a chocolate taste. You can omit the chocolate chips and use chopped fruit instead. Or, you can try white chocolate chips.

How to prepare bananas for ice cream.

Frozen bananas are really the heart of this recipe.
The bananas give this ice cream both flavor and texture.

How to store the best almond milk ice cream

Yes, this ice cream can and should be frozen, preferably in an air tight glass freezer container.
