This recipe for No Bake Avocado Pie With Lime is almost like eating a healthy dessert.
I like the taste of the avocado with wine in a pie as well.

If you like my Easy Blueberry Cobbler Recipe then you will probably like this one as well.

Both recipes feature fresh ingredients in a dessert. Also, those ingredients are not the processed kind.

This is the kind of a recipe that can work just about any time of the year.
Not only is this pie a great dessert for seasonal times of the year, it is also perfect for the holiday season. But, keep in mind that this being a no bake recipe makes it an easy pie to make!

This dessert recipe is especially for those folks asking what they can make with avocados.

Yes, it is true that avocados are amazing in guacamole and on toast. Even eating them as they are, in a salad perhaps, avocados are delicious.

Avocados are the perfect fat alternative to mayonnaise in a recipe.
The experts keep telling us that avocados contain the healthy fat (monounsaturated fat). I like to mash avocados up and add them to my tuna and egg salad.

Adding avocado to this pie recipe does more than just add color to the pie.

The avocado also adds a great taste, which may surprise you. However, because we are adding other ingredients to the pie, it tastes nothing like other avocado recipes such as guacamole.

This recipe normally calls for sweetened condensed milk.
You can make your own sweetened condensed milk by combining 1 ½ cup of sugar with a can of evaporated milk over medium heat and bringing it to a boil as you stir continuously. However, coconut milk can also be used instead of sweetened condensed milk.

Tips No Bake Avocado Pie With Lime

I already mentioned that you can try using an alternative to the sweetened condensed milk. Also, you can make your own sweetened condensed milk, which is a good way to control the amount of sugar that is added to your pie.

Here are some more great tips for making your pie.

  1. This recipe calls for lime juice. However, you can easily sub in lemon juice for half of the lime juice to make this a lemon lime avocado pie!
  2. Using reduced fat cream cheese can cut down on the fat content however, it may also affect the texture of your pie (something that you may be okay with though).
  3. Add some lime zest or coconut flakes to the top of your pie to make it look and taste even more interesting!

This recipe calls for a premade pie crust.

You can find a variety of flavors of pie crust (such as shortbread or graham cracker) online. Graham cracker crust tastes especially good with this pie!
