Ingredients needed to make pate from mushrooms.
- Olive Oil Used for sautéing the ingredients.
- Mushrooms. Cremini mushrooms were used in making this spread however, portobello mushrooms could also work. I like to remove the dirt and trim the ends of the stems first. Your mushrooms should be sliced to about a half inch wide.
- Tofu. Use firm tofu that has been cut into one inch cubes.
- Onion. Your onions should be diced.
- Seasonings- thyme, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Plant Based Milk. Nut milk for a more spreadable spread or oat milk for a thicker texture.
