Did you try my recipe for how to make Vegan Parmesan Cheese?

That vegan parmesan cheese is perfect for sprinkling on top of pasta, salads, or even popcorn.
This cheese recipe is more for spreading and dipping with food.

Confused about which vegan milk is the best to use in your recipe?
Here is what you need to know about choosing the right vegan milk..

This recipe is for anyone asking what cheeses are vegan friendly.

You probably already know, if it is a dairy product, it is made thanks to some animal somewhere.
True followers of the vegan diet or lifestyle will not consume anything that has to do with animals.

Finding vegan friendly cheese can be hard to do.

Vegan friendly cheese does not exist everywhere (I would have to search hard for vegan cheese where I live).
However, making you own vegan cheese is not all that difficult to do.

People ask what is vegan soft cheese made from.

Obviously, vegan soft or spreadable cheese is not made with dairy products as mentioned above.
Instead of using dairy, vegan cheeses are made with vegan alternatives to regular non-vegan ingredients.

This vegan cheese is made with cashews.

People who make vegan recipe like to incorporate nuts such as cashews.
This is because in moderations, nuts are healthy and also, they can be manipulated in recipes to resemble different kinds of nonvegan food.

Tips for making this vegan cashew spreadable cheese

This recipe for spreadable cheese works great when spread on top of crackers or even bread.
However, this is also a great dip to set beside a vegetable tray or with some chips on the side.

Here are some more great tips for you.

  1. Refrigerating this dip is essential to thickening the ingredients. This vegan cheese may even be sliceable if refrigerated long enough before using.
  2. If this spreadable cheese seems too thick you can easily thin it out. Simply blend in small amounts at a time of oil and water.
  3. While this is great vegan cheese idea for dipping in and spreading on to food, there are other options for serving as well. One option is to use it as a pasta sauce.

You may be wondering how do you soften cashews quickly.

Cashews are used in this recipe to create a texture that is similar to cheese such as cream cheese.
Then the softened cashews can be used in recipes such as this one.

Cashews can be soaked in water overnight for softening.

However, an even quicker way to soften cashews is to boil water, turn the heat off, add the cashews to the water cover the pot, and allow the cashews to sit for 30- 40 minutes. You will need to drain the water, rinse the cashews, and drain again before adding the softened cashews to this recipe.

How to personalize this vegan cheese recipe.

I like to personalize most recipes using Seasonings as desired. This can include Italian Seasonings, Mediterranean Diet Seasoning Blend, Greek Seasoning Blend, Salt, and/or Pepper.
