- Pineapple- 1. Prepare your pineapple by peeling it and then chopping it into 1 - 1 Β½ inch pieces (bite size).
- Onion- ΒΌ cup chopped. I like red onion for this recipe.
- Red Bell Pepper- Β½ cup diced or chopped. Feel free to use ΒΌ cup red and ΒΌ cup green or other color pepper instead of all red.
- Lime Juice- 1 tablespoon.
- Cilantro- ΒΌ cup chopped.
- Optional- hot peppers (chili, jalapeno, etc)- as desired, chopped.
- Seasonings as desired.
How to Make this Easy Pineapple Salsa
- Prepare your pineapple as indicated above (remove the skin and chop into bite sized pieces).
- Also prepare the other ingredients as indicated above (dicing and chopping).
- In a large bowl (I like a large bowl with a lid), toss together the pineapple, onion, and peppers in the lime juice.
- Add any desired seasonings and the cilantro.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
