    3. Toss. Pour half of the wet ingredients from the last step over the ingredients in the large bowl and use two large spoons or similar items to toss the ingredients. Then repeat this step with the remaining wet ingredients, tossing so that the ingredients are well incorporated.
    4. Chill. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to meld together.
    5. Serve. Serve your marinated chickpeas on toast, over rice or polenta, or as desired.
