- My sauce was made with an immersion blender to make it more smooth. The pulse feature on a food processor or blender could also work.

How to make this Chipotle Aioli Sauce Recipe
Prep Time: 5 minutes .
Yield: 6 servings, depending on how it is used .
- Place the ingredients, except for the peppers, in a tall cup, blender or food processor.
- Blend or pulse the ingredients until the consistency begins to thicken (about a minute).
- Taste and adjust your seasonings before your add the peppers at this point.
- Add the peppers to the ingredients and blend until the peppers are are incorporated. Note that the consistency of the sauce will be thickened a bit more from the blending.
- Refrigerate the sauce to set and for the flavors to meld together for at least a half hour.
Expert Tip 👉 If you are using an immersion blender, use a tall mixing cup that the blender can easily fit in to. This will help ensure that they ingredients get properly blended. If your sauce is not getting properly thickened and you are using an immersion blender, it could be because the blender is not completely submerged in the liquid.
How to store homemade aioli.
Leftover aioli should be stored in an airtight container (I like a glass mason jar). When properly stored in a refrigerator, this chipotle aioli should keep for about five days. It can also be frozen (ice cube tray method can work).
