What you need to make vanilla granola with almonds.
- Oil Use a neutral oil such as canola oil or coconut oil.
- Maple Syrup Pure maple syrup rather than a blend or alternative.

Tips for making the best homemade granola.
Sliced raw almonds were used to make my granola. You can chop the almonds for a more uniform granola.
More helpful tips for you.
- Almond flour is used to add to the texture and to allow the granola for form clusters and flavor. I would not substitute another flour for this.
- When you spread the mixture on to your baking sheet, make sure that you do so evenly. This will allow for the granola ingredients to bake evenly.
- Can you substitute honey for for the maple syrup? Honey and maple syrup do not measure the same so a substitution may not work as well for you.

How to store granola.
Once the granola has fully cooled, it can be stored in an airtight container. When properly stored, granola can keep for up to two weeks at room temperature or frozen for up to a few months.
