This is a similar recipe to this one as they are both made with orange juice. However this cake has an optional glaze, that cake has a bit of chocolate added to it.
My cake was made with a 9" bundt cake pan. You can find a selection of bundt cake pans here.
Vegan cakes are made very much like regular non-vegan cakes.
The main difference in most recipes is the substitution of ingredients for dairy ingredients.
Most cakes are made with dairy ingredients such as eggs, milk and/or butter.
Vegan cakes on the other hand, are made with egg alternatives, cow milk alternatives such as nut milks, and butter alternatives such as oils.
Obviously, orange juice to your cake recipe will add orange flavor to the cake.
However, orange juice does more than add flavor.
Adding orange to this cake adds both sweet and sour flavors. Thanks to the acidity of the orange, it also adds a bit of extra fluffiness to the texture of the cake.
Tips for making a great tasting bundt cakes.
After removing your cake from the oven, allow it to sit in the pan for about ten minutes. Then place a cooling rack on top of the cake and flip it over to unmold it to finish cooling.

About this orange pecan bundt cake recipe.
This recipe is based upon a classic bundt cake idea.
However, unlike most bundt cake recipes, this one is made with no added dairy.
This recipe is made with orange juice.
The orange juice adds both flavor and a bit of acidity. The result is a tasty and fluffy cake dessert!
Ingredients needed to make vegan cake.
- Flour. My cake was made using all purpose flour.
- Baking Powder and Baking Soda. When used together they both add lift to the cake and help to enhance the orange flavor rather than the acidity.
- Ground Cinnamon. Cinnamon adds a nice accent flavor to the orange.
- Orange Zest. While orange zest helps add that famous flavor, it also adds those speck of orange colors to the cake.
- Sugar. The sweetness of sugar helps to balance the acidity of the orange juice.
- Vegetable Oil. This is the fat used to add and hold on to moisture in the cake.
- Almond Milk. Feel free to sub in your vegan milk of choice.
- Orange Juice. Fresh orange juice is preferred if possible.
- Chopped Pecans. Really you can use the chopped nuts of choices. I like walnuts for this recipe too.
- For the glaze you will need powdered sugar and orange juice.
