Ingredients needed to make Easy homemade trail mix.
- Maple Syrup. Used to add a sweet element to the mix. Nore that if you use an alternative, it should measure like maple syrup (honey does not measure 1:1 with syrup).
- Salt. Use a larger salt, such as Kosher salt.
- Nuts. Almonds and Pecans were used to make my mix.
- Seeds. Pumpkin and Sunflower seeds were used in my mix.
- Dried Fruit. Dried cranberries and raisins were added to my mix.
- Optional. A vegan friendly chocolate or white chocolate chip. While this can melt when it is warm, it is a nice addition on about any other day.
