Baby carrots work best when they are not too wet which means that they may needed to be dried a bit before adding them to this recipe. On the other hand, larger carrots should be peeled and then cut to two to three inches in length with wider carrots sliced in half lengthwise.

- Air frying the carrots works best when they are not overlapping in the basket. For bet results, place the carrots not touching one another in the basket. You may need to air fry in batches if you have extra carrots.
- These carrots are air fried with grated cheese. It is a good idea to toss the carrots halfway through air frying to assure that everything gets baked evenly.
How to store air fried carrots.
Leftover carrots can be stored in an airtight container and refrigerator. If properly stored, these carrots should keep for a few days before getting mushy.

- Carrots. Fulls sized carrots should be cut to a more uniform size, about three inches long and wider carrots can be split.
- Cheese. Grated cheese works best in this recipe.
- Seasonings as desired. This can include Italian Seasonings, Mediterranean Diet Seasoning Blend, Greek Seasoning Blend, Salt, and/or Pepper.
- Olive Oil. Tossed with the carrots and the seasonings.
- Cheese. The cheese should be grated.
How to make this Easy Air Fryer Carrot and Cheese Recipe.
- Start by preparing the carrots as needed. Regular sized carrots should be cut down to about three inches. Baby carrots should be dabbed with a clean towel if needed to remove water.
- Preheat your air fryer to 360. Give the basket a quick spray with nonstick.
- In a large bowl, toss together the carrots, seasonings and the oil.
- Air fry the carrots for 10 minutes and then toss the carrots in the basket and return them to the air fryer.
- Next, air fry for another five minutes, toss, and add half of the cheese.
- Continue to air fry until the carrots appear to be crisp and the cheese has melted (another three to five minutes in most air fryers).
- Serve the carrots with the remaining cheese.
Expert Tip👉 Air fryers tend to vary in baking times so it is recommended that you keep an eye on your food while they air fry. If there are too many ingredients to fit into your air fryer at one time, simply make the recipe in batches.
