    The key to success of this creamy dressing lush is in the soaking of your the cashews. Proper soaking of you cashews will allow you to blend them until smooth which will make your dressing creamy for enjoying.

    Here are some more great tips for you.

    1. This recipe can be made in a food processor or a good blender. I like to use a Vitamix blender to make mine with.
    2. To make a thinner dressing simply add additional nut milk. On the other hand, you can make your dressing more thick (for dipping) simply cut back on the amount of nut milk that you add.
    3. Using fresh herbs is recommended for a better flavor in this recipe. However, if you choose to use dried herbs, the color of your dressing can vary and the the flavor will most likely be a bit more mild (still good though!)

    How to store vegan homemade ranch dip and dressing.

    This dressing should be stored in a jar with a lid or in an airtight container. If properly stored, it should keep for about five days when refrigerated and up to a few months when frozen.

    • Soaked Cashews. Use raw cashews that have been softened by soaking.
    • Almond Milk. Any non-dairy milk that is not flavored should work in this recipe.
    • Lemon Juice. Freshly squeezed lemon juice works best in this recipe.
    • Dijon Mustard. You can use the dijon mustard of your choice.
    • Freshly Chopped parsley, dill, and chives.
    • Seasonings of you choice. My ranch dressing was made with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Already prepared ranch dressing seasoning can be used.

    Expert Tip👉 Feel free to personalize your ranch by adding vegan bacon bits, a few drops of vegan hot sauce, or even vegan smoked paprika.

    How to Make Vegan Ranch Dressing and Dip

    Makes: 1 ½ cups.
    Active Time: 15 minutes

    1. Start by draining your cashews well. Also, prepare your herbs if you have not done so.
    2. In a good blender or food processor and process or blend your cashews with the vegan milk until just about smooth (few chunks will remain).
    3. Next, add the lemon juice and the herbs and give the ingredients a few good pulses.
    4. For the seasonings, add half of the seasonings, pulse and then taste the dressing. Repeat this step as need until you reach your desired flavor.
    5. Serve the dressing/dip or refrigerate immediately.

    Expert Tip👉 For a richer flavor and texture, you can use whole fat vegan mayonnaise with or instead of the nut milk.
